- The New York premiere of “Black Panther” was such a hot ticket on Tuesday night, its after-party had to move to a larger space at the eleventh hour.
- Just two hours before the MoMA screening started, premiere organizers called hot rooftop lounge the Skylark to ask if it could accommodate a private party for 250 after originally booking a smaller space.
- The Skylark had room, but “it was too late at that point to have a properly catered party there,” said an insider.
- He’d also had some primo pizza the night before, while playing poker with pals, so he called the spot — Mama’s Too — to ask if they could send 70 pies.
